I am a composer, artist, and researcher whose work explores the nature of language, religious and philosophical inquiry, and global cultural exchange.

My musical voice is shaped by a personal, embodied harmonic and rhythmic language that emerges through my guitar practice, which I orient conceptually through academic study in philosophy and theology, and expand into works for chamber ensemble, orchestra or large ensemble, and solo instruments.

A long white corridor strung end to end with festoon lights, a single figure walking away.
Hands holding a freshly printed page of the SEAWATER score beside a desktop printer.
A person walking away along a mown grass path cut through a summer meadow under a heavy sky.
A figure standing alone in a gallery before a wall-sized mural of broad multicoloured waves.
